Build A Track Entirely In Absynth Pt 6 – Arrangement
For this new tutorial in our “Build A Full Track Entirely In Absynth” series we are going to look at the arrangement and some bass sounds.
We are finally close to finishing the arrangement this week!
Our intro is done, we have a little drop section, a bridge and a second drop, so its really starting to look like a song.
All sounds are still pretty rough and unmixed, but that is no biggie, we want to focus on the creative side first.
There are a few new sounds in here, I made a heavier bass sound then the one from last week and a few new melody parts.
The reese bass is sort of the center of this track, so spend some time on that one!
Heavy bass sounds don’t have to be difficult to make, this one is a good example of that.
I just used one oscillator with some detuned oscillator settings and an all-pass filter, which is pretty common for reese sounds.
After that I used a waveshaper and some basic filter modulation, easy right?
The other new melody part is just one note in the DAW, so the melody is made inside Absynth.
You do this by right clicking on the tuning and choosing a modulation envelope to control that tuning.
I added a little extra rhythm to it by modulating the wet control of the FX section, the FX used is a resonator.
Check back next week where we are going to mix this song!
