Build A Track Entirely In Absynth Pt 4 – Overview
Welcome to week 4 of our ‘Making a track entirely in Absynth’ series. Where I will give you a overview of what we have learned so far!
Last week I’ve worked a lot on my Absynth track, and it has gotten a lot further in the arrangement.
I decided to change some of the melodies and to work on some of the sounds some more, so there is a lot to explain!
The main advantage of my work-flow in this project is that everything is still in MIDI, which allows me to automate all the interesting parameters in Absynth with the performance or Macro controls.
This is very important when you want to create tension and movement, you can now use just one patch and change it a little bit over time to keep it interesting throughout the song.
The other big advantage is that your song will “make sense”, it has one specific vibe, the sound that the listeners are going to recognize when they hear the song.
Since I realize it is a bit difficult to recreate all the patches that I explain in this video I will make a sound-pack with the most important leads and basses from this arrangement, so don’t worry to much about that!
For now, have fun with these ideas and experiment away!
