Rhythmic Loop Sound Design In Absynth

Following on from the Evolving Soundscape videos I have been doing of late I decided to move forward and create a Rhythmic Loop from the patches in those tutorials as part of a track I am creating.

Hi There and welcome to this weeks Absynth tutorial from Soundmagus.

To achieve the above i have created Rhythmic Loop envelopes to change the loop from an evolving one to the Rhythmic sound i am after.

I have also shown the creation of this sound as part of a track that I decided to create after creating an earlier sound in Zebra 2.

In the master effect section i added the Grain cloud filter/effect and modulate several of its parameters using a Rhythmic step sequencer i create for all envelopes and filter modulation.

This modulation starts to give me the organic almost talking like effect i am after. I finally add a filter effect to try and tame some of the sound but all in all its a great weird effect which adds a nice background to the track i am creating.

This is a slight adaptation on the evolving soundscape, however this Rhythmic Loop becomes a creature all of its own and hopefully in the creation of this loop you can see that you can create anything from anything relatively easily.
