Creating A House Organ In Absynth Is Easy

In this tutorial on how to create a House Organ I use Oscillator 1 as a “sub” oscillator for bottom end weight simply by dropping the the tuning by an octave on a sine wave.

Hi All and welcome to this House Organ sound design video tutorial.

Well as it was Christmas i was messing with Absynth and discovered how easy it is to make a general House Organ sound so here it is.

I use 3 Oscillators in this sound primarily to give you some idea of multi-layered oscillator sounds but also to show you how easy it is (even when some of the sound sources aren’t exactly what you want) to get a deep “big” sound in Absynth.

In this tutorial on how to create a House Organ I use Oscillator 1 as a “sub” oscillator for bottom end weight simply by dropping the the tuning by an octave on a sine wave.

Secondly I use a great organ wave which comes with Absynth and is one of the reasons why these types of sounds in Absynth are so simple to create, and simple and fast is what i like best.

The final oscillator has a noise wave form which wasn’t ideal due to its “digital sounding” content but if you work enough and use sounds in the right context sometimes you get pleasantly surprises and perhaps an additional originality to your sound which you my not have gotten when using “traditional” waveforms.

So all in all a nice easy tutorial which has hidden depth and for those of you into house music this would give you an excellent template for creating huge House Organ
type sounds in the blink of an eye.
