Demystifying Automation with Absynths Automation Controllers

Using Absynths Automation Controllers is easy but if you are not used to the way things are done in Absynth it can be quite confusing.

There seems to be a lack of knobs and sliders to automate, however they are there, they just don’t look like they are there, why is this? Its because most of them are NOT knobs or sliders but little diamond buttons.

In this Absynths Automation Controllers video I show you how to use several different methods to attach controllers to sources including Macro use and Midi Learn.

I also discuss some information regarding midi CC (control change) numbers but nothing in-depth as i don’t think a full explanation of these numbers is required, just as long as you know how to assign controllers to sources you are good to go.

I also briefly explain how to control 2 parameters going in separate directions by using the Assignments tab under the performance window, making everything as simple to understand and extremely easy to follow.

All in all another simple tutorial showing the different methods that you can control and assign Absynths Automation Controllers to. However as someone once said to me “everything is easy if you know the answer” well now you know so happy automation adventures in Absynth.
