Absynth Evolving Pad - Part 2
In this second part of the Absynth Evolving Pad tutorials i continue with the patch made a few weeks ago and continue to evolve the patch into something greater.
Use the example of a 16 bar intro to get across the length of this Evolving Absynth Pad.
I show you how to get the envelopes to run the complete 16 bars in Absynth. This is the set length i wish to use for my Intro.
I show you several ways to control the envelopes, like stretching them for the complete duration of 16 bars or leaving them as they where and using the Loop feature in the envelope.
I also move into modulating the pitches of some of the oscillators using envelopes for added interest. Also modulated is The Mod Balance for panning effects, again keeping the pad interesting over time.
The most unique thing about this Absynth Evolving Pads tutorial is that i basically let you watch over my shoulder as i create the next step in this evolving pad, its all “live” nothing pre-made or created so you see it all, the good, the bad and the ugly.
We also utilize envelope presets as well as using a step sequencer to add a rhythmic section to one of the oscillator as the pad/soundscape starts to evolve in time.
All in all a great little tutorial that will hopefully help you see that creating Absynth Evolving Pads is all about your own creativity, trial and error, trying things you haven’t before and just some good old plain fun. I hope you enjoy it.
